The Kraken is a Ginormous sea monster that hunted off the coast of Norway and Greenland. Terrorizing Sailors and sea mammals.
The Old Nordic Konungs Skuggsjá, (‘King’s Mirror’ ) of 1270 describes it’s body shaped like an icicle with a huge head.
The Kraken was also noted in 1555 by Swedish Archbishop Olas Magnus even snatching and devouring livestock since it’s 190 feet long. Sailors and sea life was among it’s favorite prey to devour.
